Our wait times are minimal, and we offer both walk-ins and appointments for your convenience.
GENERAL X-RAYS
For General X-rays, no appointment is necessary—walk-ins are welcome. Lead protection is available upon request for your safety and comfort.
Please note:
- •We do not perform scoliosis exams or long leg series X-rays.
- •We have one X-ray machine and close for 30 minutes during lunch.
- •If you have respiratory symptoms, you may be asked to wear a mask to protect staff and other clients.
What to Expect
- •Upon arrival, our friendly receptionist will check you in. Please bring your BC Care Card and a requisition from your physician.
- •Depending on the exam, you may need to change into a gown and remove jewelry.
- •Lead protection is available upon request.
- •X-rays are quick, painless, and may require holding your breath or a specific position briefly.
- •Our skilled Technologists ensure you receive minimal radiation and a comfortable experience.
- •Results will be sent to your physician, usually within 24-48 hours.
